Introducing our newest addition to the Budeful collection - the Bude is My Happy Place Mug in vibrant orange. Handmade in Bude, North Cornwall, this stackable pottery mug is the perfect way to bring a touch of the coast into your home.

Inspired by the beautiful waves and sandy beaches of Bude, this unique design is exclusive to Budeful. Each mug is hand thrown in White Earthenware Clay and the handles are carefully applied when the clay is at the perfect 'leather hard' stage.

After being biscuit fired to just over 1100oC, the mugs are then hand painted with coloured under-glaze paints and dipped in a translucent glaze. They are then dried for a day before being fired again at a slightly lower temperature to ensure the bright colors do not 'burn out'.

To add the finishing touch, ceramic transfers are applied by hand and the mugs are fired for a third time to just over 800oC. This ensures a high-quality, durable product that will bring joy to your daily coffee or tea routine.
