Budeful Beach Clean with The 2 Minute Foundation
Last week, Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches saw a remarkable gathering of passionate individuals dedicated to safeguarding our shores.
Despite the rainy weather, volunteers from The 2 Minute Foundation, along with support from Bude & Greater Area Chamber of Commerce, Cornwall Council, The Bude Town Team and Budeful, came together for a cleanup initiative that left a lasting impact.
The event featuring a talk by The 2 Minute Foundation Charity, rallied participants to tackle plastic pollution and litter along the coastline. Whilst there were no children present, the commitment showcased by attendees of all ages underscored the collective effort to preserve our natural environment.
The beaches were a hive of community spirit and environmental consciousness, reflecting the power of collaboration in the face of environmental challenges. The event served as a reminder that local initiatives can drive positive change and inspire others to follow suit.
As the beach clean drew to a close, the beaches stood cleaner and more resilient, a testament to the dedication and unity shown by all involved. With each piece of litter and each nurdle collected, a ripple of change was set in motion, promising a brighter, cleaner future for our coastline and beyond.
