Description
Our brand new beaker. Handmade in Bude, North Cornwall.
Inspiration
Inspired by the coast and beachy waves. This design is unique to Budeful and features our wave design and official Bude Blue.
Additional Info
Pots are hand thrown in White Earthenware Clay with the handles for the mugs being applied when the clay is 'leather hard'.
Biscuit fired to just over 1100oC
Pots are hand then painted with coloured under-glaze paints and dipped in a translucent glaze and dried for a day.
The glaze firing is slightly lower to ensure the bright colours do not 'burn out' in firing.
Ceramic transfers are applied by hand and then the pots are fired for a 3rd time to just over 800oC.
