Inspiration

This one-of-a-kind Octopus sculpture took many hours to carve by the artist Lewis Harrison Kemp. The Jurassic Blue Lias Limestone chosen for this piece, is over 200 million years old and considered to be an impossible stone to carve. Using Tungsten chisels, each design is painstakingly carved and totally unique. This has been hand gilded in 22ct Moon Gold Leaf adding to the authenticity of the piece.
