Our Budeful Jewellery Story

Our Budeful Jewellery Story

We are excited to introduce our delightful new Budeful Silver Collection. Each of the pieces are expertly handmade in Cornwall from British recycled silver, then hallmarked at the assay office in London UK. From humble beginnings to completion, this elegant and charming range carries this all important quality endorsement.

Brimming with ideas for this new range, Netty Wilson approached the talented Jo Bridson to assist her in making this long held dream a reality. Taking the design ideas and sketches Netty had created, Jo began the intricate task of turning them into a premier jewellery collection. The creative duo collaborated every step of the way on this unique and exciting project, to bring to market a brand new and exclusive brand of jewellery. With ethical values firmly at the core, each of one of their pieces has been painstakingly hand crafted to offer the quality they both desired.

Forming the core of this delightful collection, are the icons inspired by key locations and sentiments from living life by the coast. Taking inspiration from Art Deco style sunbeams, to the Storm Tower overlooking Summerleaze beach, these introductory pieces showcase these stunning locations and sentiments beautifully. Keeping to their ethical values, the team also made sure that all packaging was eco-friendly and recyclable. It was important to the designers, that these ethical values were followed to the latter, but still retained a luxury and high end feel. The stylish logo for the jewellery collection was designed by the talented Mr Lindsay Comens of Too Much Black Coffee Design. There were several incarnations presented, until the team settled upon the eye catching design you now see on all of the packaging for this delightful collection.

With more design ideas in the pipeline, the creative team behind this project will be kept very busy in the months to come. Customer ideas and feedback are always welcome, as these can assist in the design process and help with expanding the collection. Who knows, there may be several customer suggestions that make it onto the website and even onto the shelves in the Budeful Store.

I bought one in an essential shop but had to order this one in my size online. So glad I did. As a survivor of a suicide attempt, this necklace is a beautiful reminder of my life!
