Tiny store with all kinds of local handicrafts in the heart of Bude. Actually a quite normal sympathetic store like many others. If it weren't for Nick. Nick, with his charm, his joie de vivre, his wit (and his sales talent), brings a completely unexpected magic to this otherwise ordinary place. Lovingly: from a beautiful mug (name: "Jeff") - designed by his wife and made by an experienced local potter from Cornwall - he even said goodbye in person. It was surprisingly fun to shop with the former Marine. Thank you, Nick, the fifth star goes to you.

Fantastic! Local home-grown business and lovely to see Bude so busy again after a couple of years affected by the pandemic... Love that the products are small run editions which means the products are more individual and all the more special when you see a design that suits YOU, or a friend perfectly. Probably spent too long talking to Nick but that is part of the experience. Bude deserves more of what Budeful has to offer, so support local business even as a visitor.

Fantastic shop, gorgeous products and fabulous customer service. This is a gem in the heart of Bude. Wonderful unique artwork, we saw the naked surfers design whilst visiting and were delighted to see they are now customisable. An absolute gem in the heart of Bude... I'm a bit obsessed with these abstract designs and love the whole ethos of the Budeful brand. I recently bought one of their Onan candles and it's dreamy: from the uplifting scent, to the gorgeous design, to the fact it burns equally and doesn't give you a sore throat - you can tell it's of the highest quality. My favourite part of shopping in Budeful, though, are the owners: Netty and Nick - they're such lovely, interesting people. Can't wait to go back soon!

What's not to love? We spotted this little gem after parking outside one evening, instantly loving the wares on display in the window. We made a point of swinging by a couple of days later. The cheeky contemporay artwork adorning all manner of homeware are irresistible. A word of warning though.... You'll need longer than you think in this place. There's a danger that Nick will keep you chatting and laughing for far longer than your timetable allows. We had an absolute ball listening to his tales and sharing anecdotes. Need a bit of local knowledge? He covers everything, from the best ice cream parlours and tapas, to the comings and goings of the harbour lock. We'll be back! Can't wait to see what else Netty (it's her artwork apparently!) comes up with on our next visit. Thank you thank you Nick, you made our day. See you again very soon. Lovin' what you do! xx

Was here about a month with my girlfriend on the last day of our holiday, I can honestly say this stuff is top quality and just overall amazing The detail of the products and the art involved is just amazing we both loved it and ended up buying more than we went in for Such an amazing man in charge, customer service was fantastic we loved talking to him about his shop and just In general we would defiantly be going again if we can Sorry for the late review

Stumbled on their little gem of a shop whilst on holiday. Loads of unique Art Deco inspired designs and beautiful depicted characters on prints and general home wares. The owner is a smashing chap who loves to talk and is obviously very proud of his wife’s designs (so he should be!) Great gifts for anyone really! Don’t miss this place!
